The Setting

Titans of Atlantis, is a role-playing game that immerses you into the ancient world, full of legends, heroes, and monsters. As adventurers, you navigate Atlantis' unique landscapes, battle formidable beasts and foes, unearth ancient relics, and forge strategic alliances.

You play as one of the heroes of Atlantis—perhaps an Atlantean, child of the chosen goddess Clieto and guardian of the continent; or a satyr, living in harmony with nature yet often at odds with the Atlanteans; or a centaur, who values strength and honor above all. Or maybe you choose to embody a unique creation of the gods, feared or revered by those around you. You decide what traits, abilities, challenges, and perspectives you bring to the table—literally—and to the world.

The System

Unique Setting

Atlantis is the re-imagined old world kingdom spoken of by Plato. It is the magical island continent where the Titan gods vie for supremacy, kingdoms battle one another for power, and heroes shape its destiny. The setting is one of ancient mythos, thrilling and deeply immersive, offering a rich backdrop for your adventures.

Intuitive Dice Mechanic

Titans of Atlantis introduces the Dice/Target (DT) system - an easy-to-learn, intuitive dice mechanic that makes conflict resolution seamless. Every action you take is driven by a skill on your character sheet, dictating how many dice to roll and what numbers to beat. No time-consuming calculations; just roll and play. The game is streamlined and designed to keep the focus on your group's narrative storytelling.

Skill Based System

In Titans of Atlantis, your character is shaped by a carefully designed skill-based system. You craft a character with a unique blend of skills, spells, and traits. Whenever you are confronted with a conflict, you select your character's specialized skill to deal with the situation, or use the fallback "General Skill" and roll. During character, you will spend background development points to build the hero you've always envisioned.

Classless Freedom

Break free from stereotypical archetypes with a classless system that lets you create the hero you want. Choose traits that align with your vision - be it the majestic wings of a demigod, or the unyielding strength of Achilles. Develop your character's strengths and weaknesses to fit your play style, then carve your path in the world of Atlantis.

Narrative Actions and Combat

You not only decide the skill you will use, but are encouraged to provide a narrative description on how you perform your action. By using tactical descriptions of your actions, you gain bonuses (or negative "disadvantages") based on your choices.

Combat is deadly, where every decision is critical. Combat in Titans of Atlantis uses an action-based economy to balance offensive and defensive maneuvers, or to wait for the perfect moment to strike. Your choices and tactical decisions you narrate, mean the difference between life and death.

Active Defense

Your defense isn't just a number - it's a choice. In the heat of battle, you have the power to decide your defensive maneuvers. Do you roll to block with your shield, parry with your weapon, or dodge the incoming strike? Will you choose a balanced attack and defense? or pour everything into a concentrated attack? The decision is yours, and it could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Gritty and Bloody

Combat in Atlantis requires timing and precision. Well-placed strikes can cripple, impale, or dismember, adding a visceral and gritty realism to your battles. Beware, what you can do to your enemies, they can do to you. Fight to survive and thrive where every fight can leave lasting scars.

Over 100+ Spells

Magic in Atlantis is a divine gift that is bestowed upon the chosen. Wield the elements, shape reality, and commune with gods. With 17 distinct Realms of magic, each with approximately 10 spell types and 5 power levels, your magical prowess can grow to awe-inspiring heights. But beware, reckless use of magic may lead to your downfall, as the power of the gods is as perilous as it is thrilling.

We are hard at work to bring Atlantis to life in your favorite Virtual Tabletop (VTT) environments. Soon, you'll be able to track and roll using crafted character sheets and token assets designed to enhance your gameplay experience. The best part? We're aiming to provide these at no extra cost.
